There is something deeply personal about the Toulin Wooden Door With Frame — it feels like it remembers every hand that has touched it. Carved from solid teak wood, this double-door piece has softened with time into a palette of muted sage green, dusty mauve, and warm ochre, all layered and fading into one another like an old fresco.
The six carved panels on each door tell their own stories — quatrefoil petal motifs at the top, scrolling floral cartouches with iron ring pulls at the centre, and oval medallions with carved tree-of-life designs and sunburst rosettes at the bottom. The wide frame wraps the whole piece in a continuous carved scroll border, fluted columns, and a decorated lintel with painted floral details that still hold traces of their original colour.
A brass sliding bolt with padlock loop sits at the centre, keeping the Toulin rooted in purpose. This is a door that was made to be used — as a pooja room entrance, a bedroom threshold, a living area focal point, or wherever your home needs something real, something with a past.
