Good things come in threes. The Rania is a nesting set of three hand-painted mango wood boxes that stack together like a small, decorated tower and separate into three perfectly usable storage pieces when you need them to.
Each box shares the same visual language, a deep, dark base colour close to black, covered in hand-painted motifs that feel pulled from a Rajasthani night sky. White floral medallions and star-burst patterns dot the sides, while the lids carry more elaborate work, wave borders in red and gold, paisley-like flourishes in green and yellow, and a central mandala motif that grows more detailed with each size. Small brass knobs sit at the front of each lid, just enough to lift them open with one hand.
What makes this set work is the consistency. The three boxes are clearly a family, same colour palette, same painting style, same hand. But each one holds its own. The smallest is perfect for rings and earrings. The medium one fits bangles, watches, or a small collection of treasures. The largest can handle everything from letters and photographs to scarves and keepsakes.
Stack them on a console for a striking display, or scatter them across different rooms and let each one do its own thing. They're versatile that way. Together they make a statement. Apart they make themselves useful.
Three boxes. One artisan's hand. No two strokes the same.
