Built to last and made to be lived with. The Necla Wooden Naga Table is carved from a single piece of teak sourced from Nagaland, with the wood itself aged roughly 60 to 80 years. That kind of material doesn't come off a production line. It comes from a place and a people who understand what wood can hold.
The design is square, sturdy, and low to the ground, resting on four broad, flat legs that look like they grew out of the surface rather than being attached to it. Because they did. The entire table is one piece. Along the edges, hand-carved scalloped ridges give the flat top a textured border, soft and rhythmic, like something worn smooth by years of use.
The finish is completely natural. Pale teak tones with hints of grey and warm brown, untouched by stain or lacquer. The grain is visible. The chisel marks are visible. The small imperfections that come from being shaped entirely by hand are visible. And that's exactly what makes it beautiful.
Use it as a coffee table, a side table, or pair two together for a larger surface. It sits comfortably in a minimal modern space, a warm bohemian living room, or a curated collector's home. The Necla doesn't follow trends. It outlasts them.
