Not everything needs to be loud to be noticed. The Kulsoom Copper Box is proof of that. Small, quiet, and sitting low on any surface, it draws you in the moment you look a little closer.
Hand-formed in solid copper and left with a natural, unpolished patina, this lidded box has the kind of softly aged finish that only time and air can give metal. The lid is gently domed and covered in embossed floral and star motifs, each one pressed into the copper by hand. A small oval knob sits at the centre, just enough to lift the lid with your fingertips. The base tray has a fine beaded rim that adds a subtle frame to the whole piece without overdoing it.
It's compact enough for a vanity, a bedside shelf, or a bathroom counter. Use it for rings, earrings, small trinkets, or a few loose things you want gathered in one beautiful place. Or leave it empty. It doesn't need a purpose to justify its presence.
What makes the Kulsoom special is what hasn't been done to it. No lacquer, no high polish, no attempt to make it look new. The greenish-silver patina tells you this is copper doing what copper does, ageing honestly and looking better for it.
