Offset the whole look with a matching dresser of wood and glass to showcase your precious dinnerware and crystal and store many other things, not necessarily dining! An antique clock atop it, or on the wall adds drama, as does a large mirror on the opposite wall, and completes the aura of elegance!
Rustic is trending in this millennium! Think distressed furniture in natural wood tones, or the ever-popular blue and green hues. Go for a foldable, boarded distressed-finish dining table, complemented with matching folding chairs. A matching closet or one in cane, along with cane stools for extra seating and dhurries on the floor complete the comfortably rugged look. Hang up a distressed metal lantern, and a copper teapot light for added charm.
